Command 0x26: Pitch bend (round trip, sign inverted)
Sets a pitch bend that goes back and forth the same number of times. Uses the change amount with its sign inverted.
Syntax
0x26, byte delay, byte interval, byte count, sbyte delta
Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Contents |
|---|---|---|
| delay | byte | Time until the first change |
| interval | byte | Interval between changes |
| count | byte | Number of changes in one direction |
| delta | sbyte | Pitch change per step. Set with its sign inverted |
Remarks
Performs the same setting as command 0x09 with reverse set to count and count set to count × 2.
The pitch rises by delta for the first count changes (because the inverted change amount is inverted again when applied), then falls by delta for the next count changes, returning to the original pitch.
For the detailed behavior of pitch bend, see command 0x08.
This command takes no time to process, and the following event is read within the same tick.
Note
- count × 2 is calculated in 8 bits, so if 128 or more is specified for count, the total number of changes will be incorrect.
