Command 0x12: Tuning

Sets the channel’s tuning value.

Remarks

Sets the channel’s tuning value ($64+x). On key on, P × tuning / 1024 is added to the pitch value P obtained from the pitch definition table.
Each unit is about 1.7 cents, allowing correction in the range of about -2.3 to +2.0 semitones. It is mainly used to correct the pitch offset of each sample.

This command takes no time to process, and the following event is read within the same tick.

Note

Command 0x01 does not change the tuning value. Command 0x22 sets it at the same time.
